Besides the Dyson brands
Dirt devil is another really powerful vacuum but with a very affordable price. I used this model for many years. Very satisfied with it. It is loud, but Picking up dust and small debris from both carpet and hard floor easily. Super easy to clean. Light weight but durable materials. You just need to change or clean the filter every six months. Now I had two in the house at the same time. Very handy especially when we have a cat. We sweep with the Devil
Bought this unit as a replacement to our old one. We like the way it cleans the hardwood floors. Only rated this model as good because the wheels are starting to wear out after years of use.
