Anne Graham Lotz draws on her own experiences of pain, healing and redemptive love in telling the Biblical story of Hagar, a woman wounded by God’s people during the Old Testament days of Abraham. The book reveals the sad truth that some of our most painful wounds as Christians are inflicted by those in the church- pastors, teachers, and trusted Christian friends- but that healing and forgiveness...even in exile...can be found in God’s love.
