As far as I can tell, this product is basically plain old superglue. The applicator is the thing you're paying extra for, and in my case it was worth it. Normally I would not use superglue for chair repair; I would opt for something a bit thicker, like epoxy, to provide some physical support as well as chemical bonding. Since ALL the bracing in my dad's kitchen chair was wobbly, however, I went with the highest rated product. I was careful to put down newspapers before starting work on the chair, but I don't believe I spilled a drop. Better safe than sorry, though--superglue will not come off the floor (or you) if you spill it. The glue itself naturally wants to go into cracks and crevices (with a little help from gravity), and the tiny, flexible applicator fits into some pretty tight spaces. So I feel like I got a good fix on the chair, and gluing every single connection should help the braces support each other and hopefully not pop loose under pressure. I left the chair to dry overnight, but the glue sets quickly, so I was able to see it had done the job right away. So far, so good--the chair legs are nice and tight again and no more wobbling. Even though I had several connections to glue, there was plenty of product and I even had some left over for other projects. The pack comes with two applicators, so you have a spare if one gets stopped up, but the glue went back into the bottle and didn't clog the applicator in my case. I would recommend this product for any chair where you have several connections to repair and tight spaces to get into. If the pieces are actually coming apart from the chair and the spaces are too big for a tight fit, you might want a different product with more "body" to fill in the gaps.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
