Short mic stands.
I bought some other inexpensive short mic stands for kick, snare and mic’s on cabs. They wanted to fall over under the weight of the mic especially the kick. This one seems much better for this purpose.

Lightweight but stays put.

Bigger then a small mic boom, but smaller then a full size boom!
When I got this mic/boom I needed a mid sized boom for various applications. Everything from mic'ing a bass cab to a vocal mic for an acoustic performer sitting on a chair/stool. It works for both. And the construction is as good as a much more expensive model. A good bargain too, because we're on a budget.

Design issue
This stand came with a small nut, which cannot hold the boom in place I replaced it with a long nut from another companie's mic stand, now it is working ok.

Design flaw
The boom arm will not tighten enough to hold mic steady. I will not recommend due to this design flaw.
