CreatuReplica Louisiana Rougarou. Prepare to enter the primordial woods and frozen wastes of the world and explore it's darkest corners. There are things undescribed by science on the fringes, stomping through the forest, chittering in the shadows.
Highly-detailed and exceptionally articulated, this recent remake of the classic werewolf, or "Loup-Garou" is impressive and extremely well-adapted for a wide range of poses. A very nice touch was making the ears and mouth movable.
The coloring design of having grey fur growing out of dark tan skin was a good natural-looking choice, although the contrast between the almost-bare tanned arms with very little fur texture or grey color blended over the brown and the extra furry chest gives the appearance that the arms and the furry chest somehow came from different bodies, and I was motivated to add some grey color to the arms and upper legs to make my figure have more consistent coloration. I would also like to note that in bluish, Underworld-style lighting the figure as-painted looks much more uniformly colored than in normal or warm lighting. Another convenience of this figure is that the small shreds of off-white former clothing worn by this creature can be easily removed to make the figure look more feral or completely wild. In appropriate subdued lighting this monster is striking, and belongs in the collection of any fan of classic monsters.
