New life for an old laptop
I ordered this battery to try and get a little a more run time from an old laptop. The battery is what they said it should be, however, a couple of small plastic tabs broke off when I tried to install it. The battery would not click in place with the tabs attached. I thought I had ruined it when the small bits fell onto the table but the battery now clicks in and out just like the factory battery did. Perhaps it was a battery for multiple types and due to the age of mine, the battery was not really designed with it in mind. The battery did, in fact, extend the run time of the laptop but I was hoping it for more. The original battery was the smaller one and I would get about an hour and forty-five minutes from it. I was hoping the newer larger battery would give me three hours but two hours and thirty minutes are max for my type of work. I am holding out hope that it will improve slightly with a couple of charge cycles. I really like the old laptop and get sad to see it age, but at the very least the less than twenty dollars will keep it around for another year or so.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

really should charge it a couple of times...
so yeah, filled and drained to 0 the first two times last week, had some enormous estimated run times (6-some hours?) that didn't pan out at all. pretty cheap I guess, came when it said, gonna hafta use it a little more before I can really answer any questions. watch the nbc nightly news for 1/2-hour every night, lasts throug the day for punching in-punching out at 9:00am and 4pm, but then I do turn it off until lunch at noon. 11.2% "battery wear" (BatteryBar 3.6.0) after 3 or 4 charges? whatever that means, was 0 for the first few times, didn't do anything "bad" I don't think to it..., but hasn't increased at all from there.. so it sure is a lot better than the 6-cell I bought it with with 40+% wear, for sure!Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Laptop Battery for D630 Latitude
When told by my Laptop, I should consider purchasing a new battery, because the one I was using wouldn't hold a charge. I of course went to ebay and searched for a new one. I was surprised to see the 9 volt listed, but it said it was for my laptop, so I purchased it, and love it. Has probably doubled my use time before recharging. I ordered the 9 cell battery after ordering a refurbished Dell Latitude D630 laptop computer
