The Microsoft Wireless Desktop Keyboard 850 Model is a new, sealed product that offers a standard QWERTY layout in a sleek black color. It features wireless connectivity, multimedia integration, enhanced function keys, and plug-and-play functionality. This keyboard does not come with a charger included, but it is designed for easy use with English language settings. Perfect for those looking for a reliable and efficient keyboard for their computer setup.
I like Microsoft products because they work every time all the time. However, Microsoft could take a few pointers from their competition.
The biggest suggestion would be to differentiate the more important keys better. Most of the keys on a Microsoft keyboard are the same size or all crammed together so it's difficult to differentiate in a hurry. Also, super function keys (keys that do more than just the regular function of a key, like manipulate sound volume) are too small to see at a glance. If the sound on YouTube video I'm watching suddenly goes screachingly high, finding the mute button gets painfully slow.
Also, there are no indicators that either the Caps Lock or the Num Lock keys are activated or not.
All of the above are not deal breakers: They would just make this a better product.
Over all, a good value for the money. It doesn't sing and dance, but I don't need a computer keyboard to sing and dance, if you know what I mean.
xlnt freedom with a wireless keyboard & mouse.
I found 2 problems which are minor.
1. I can't tell if the cap locks are on or off as there is no light to let you know until i type one
2 . When the keyboard wakes up & comes on, the very 1st letter typed doesn't show up.
