I add this to my dog's chondroitin and glucosamine supplements. He is 9 and has had two knee surgeries in his life, and been hit by a car which broke his pelvic bone and his supplements really help him out. I can really tell that adding this makes a difference over using chondroitin and glucosamine alone. It only takes a little bit- he weighs 68 pounds and I give him 1/4 teaspoon. Not as bitter as others I've tried...
I had used a couple different brands of MSM powder other than this one and I must say that this is the 'better' tasting one of the three. No, not sweet but certainly not as bitter. I take it more for hair growth like thinning edges and now that I exercise more regularly, it seems to help with inflammation when I push myself. Admittedly, I don't use it everyday because MSM can be a stomach irritant for me so 3-4 times a week works better; and I also use a hair serum for my hairline.
