Use these rings for sporting rifle(s) with Weaver style / cross-slot bases. At 1/3-1/2 the price of similar rings (which I also use) they have, so far, held tight on light (243) to medium (30-06) recoiling rifles. Eventually I'll try a set on a magnum rifle. As a rule I use Lok-Tite on bases & rings therefore I cannot comment w/o the use of it. These rings are definitely worth trying if you haven't already.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
