Great tuner except for..............
Good tuner. Arrived with a broken tuning stem that was cheap plastic. Replacement is on way from manufacturer. Put in line with about 200 watts from chicago made contact to Hawaii and California with a flat standing wave. Wel lit and easy to read meter. Knobs turn well and microadjust for us radio perfectionists. Over all a good item that does far more than expected. Would recommend and purchase again if need be.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Great for the money.
Very easy to use and works like a champ. Tune's end-fed, out band diapoles and inverted v's from 160 to 10 meters. Works great for tuning up on 60 meters and gives a good 1:1 match. Bright watt/SWR meter easy to see. Great for use with moderate amps 500 to 800 watts, have not tried anything higher but rated 1.5kw pep.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

MFJ 962D Tuner
This is a very good antenna tuner. I would have been better is the manual for the tuner was included in the box. Too, it needs an external power supply for the meter to work, this was not mentioned in the description when I bought the tuner. I got it going by use of my wire and connector scrap box. It works exactly as advertised although when it arrived I heard a rattle like loose parts so I took the top off an the doughnut was loose an the nut an washer had come off. So I put it back together and its fine now.
