It’s as loud as the VHPAF™, but has as much low-end and midrange definition as the VPAF™ bridge model. DiMarzio DP-223 PAF® 36th Anniversary Bridge Humbucker There was no such thing as a "neck" or "bridge" humbucker in the 1950s.
The 36th Anniversary pickup from Dimarzio delivers all that it claims. A warm and full PAF tone that responds well to pick attacks. The bridge model with "F" spacing is what I purchased. This pickup was fitted in an Epiphone 335 Pro guitar and, to my ear, really helped the guitar articulate it's acoustic voice over the stock pickups.
A vintage hubucker sound that is full without being muddy. I have these in a gibson les paul studio and i have coul tapped these pickups. Tapped options still sound great!
