I needed to bullnose a 2" counter edge board. I love the name brand cutters but was having a hard time justifying the 100-plus-dollar purchase for one job. I saw the listing for this bit and decided to try it.
It's a pretty big diameter bit so I started cutting at lower rpm, willing to sacrifice the early pass finish for safety. It cut pretty good. Second pass I sped the router up. It cut fine. The bearing was running perfectly and the finish was okay. Final pass I ran it at normal speed. The bearing didn't stall, chatter, nothing. The final cut on poplar was good enough to sand with 220 grit paper before sealing.
The carbide stayed clean and crisp. Balance was very good at all speeds. Cut quality was better than I expected for an economy-priced router bit.
If you're on the fence, I say go for it. The price is great and the bit worked very well for
me.
I needed to round off a profile on some cabinets I did and there ware some screws that I could not get out so I got this bitt to go over the screws and then throw it away. It held up and even cutting threw metal the blade was perfect
Thank you
