We have had an Ooma telo for about 7 years and LOVE that we no longer have a phone bill. It has been very reliable and the sound quality is amazing. I have a # dedicated just for my business so that my customers can't call me on my cell at all hours. I can control it bc there is a voicemail/answer system built in, where they can leave messages. We just bought this 2nd Ooma bc now they allow 2 phone lines (earlier models didn't) AND they are now wireless. I had to keep the answer machine close to the router before and it was not convenient, I needed it in my office. The wireless capability on this newer model allows me to have the system in my upstairs office, it could actually be placed anywhere in the house. We have the Panasonic Detect Phone system attached to it and have 6 different wireless handsets spaced around our house, so when it rings, we can answer from anywhere. I'm thinking about now getting a 2nd phone number we can have for family and friends, and from what I see, different rings alert you as to which line is calling in. All the extras that you normally pay for, 3 way calling, call waiting, call forwarding, etc. I also have the Ooma ap on my cell, which alerts me when I get a message and I can listen to that message when away from home. If it is important, it lists the number, so I can call that person if needed. Great value, would recommend to everyone that has internet in their home. Can't go wrong.Read full review

The device was sealed, but already had major problems. 1. When device is idle it restarts every 2-3 hours. 2. The surface us very sticky. I had this problem with my previous Ooma after several years of use. This one was already sticky when I opened it. I found many complaints about it on Ooma forum, with no good solution. So one has to keep the device in the original plastic bag or cover it with some film (see the photo).

The sound quality is like a landline. It has a lot of features, and its easy to setup. It's definitely worth the money. I don't regret buying it.

Got rid of land line. This was a good inexpensive alternative if ya gotta have a second line. We just use the basic service, however, there are lots of add on accessories. Good web site and mobile app. Even good live customer service. Ported old number, easy, for a fee. Overall Good!

The OOMA Phone Service has been a very good product for the cost. The sound is very good and the product is easy to use. After one purchases the OOMA Product, the cost for phone service throughout the US is only the cost for the phone taxes, in my case about $5.00 a month. OOMA also offers a premium service for another $10.00 a month, which includes the capability for a second phone line.
