Old, but new, test equipment.
I've worked with these VAT-40s for years. I really only needed a way to test alternator output with a good load and the VAT-40 fits the bill. I could have gotten a cheaper load tester but the Sun VAT has character and capacity, both. And, new overlays for the gauges and the main panel are available that give a new look to this machine. This one was built in the mid 70's and still works. No pics yet of the new look.
