Best stock for the 870 hands down
This is a great stock for setting up an 870. The fit and finish are excellent, and the instructions are clear and concise. The set even comes with the tool to unscrew the castle nut holding on the forend. The adjustable length of pull is the best selling point for this stock. The included spacers allow you to set up the gun for small or large shooter. My wife is 5' 3" and can now easily cycle the weapons without overstretching her left arm. This also shortens the shotgun, making it easier to stow and travel with. There is no other stock I would ever mount on my shotgun.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Better Than Expected
I was really on the fence about buying this set. From the first time I saw this, I thought, I want that on my shotgun. I was on the fence about buying it though due to its high price. Up until this point I hadn't owned any Magpul accessories. After 8 months of thinking and putting it out of my mind a local shop had the Magpul 870 shotgun in stock. So I asked to hold it. OH MAN! Big mistake. It was the best components I had ever held for the 870. I went home and immediately bought this set for mine. eBay has the best prices on this set that I have found. I am so glad I did. It makes the gun feel better than natural in every stance and in the hand. It made my gun perfect in its fit and function. Pretty high quality stuff too. Can't go wrong with Magpul.
A while back I had bought an off brand stock for the same 870 and it just did not fit the shotgun properly. Sat at an angle on my shoulder. Magpul does their homework. Fits the shotgun perfectly and it looks great! Very happy with it! Next is the Streamlight pump

Worth every penny!
I held off on buying this stock for a long time cause i thought it was a little steep in price for a buttstock. I eventually broke down and bought it and i'm so glad i did! The feel of the stock is great. Big improvement over the original. Its very nice being able to adjust the length of pull. I paired it with the magpul forend with angled grip on the bottom and it looks fantastic. Just looking at the shotgun you know it means buisness. Instalation was very easy and fits perfect. Anyone on the fence about buying this stock I suggest to go for it!

Nice furniture
Bought this for my Hawk 982 which is close to a Remington 870 clone. The forend required some adjusting to fit, but no big deal. Great upgrade, camp gun, Home Def.
Inherited a old 870 Wingmaster from my dad when he passed. Mostly us my Beretta 391 for waterfowl hunting so ordered up a Carlson 18.5” barrel for it and this stock. I love the adjustable spacers. Allowed me to make it just short enough my girlfriend can use it while making it long enough it doesn’t feel like a kids gun to me. Fore-end installation was a breeze with the supplied fire-end nut wrench. Very happy with this stock.

Legit magpul parts.
I’ve used many magpul parts in the past and this 870 but stock is another great product. I’ve installed it on my Remington 870 express magnum pump action which I use for hunting birds. The original stock was wood and the recoil pad provides no help. Excellent Upgrade
I purchased this Magpul stock and fore-grip for my Remington 870 Express Magnum Tactical shotgun. It was very easy to remove the old parts and the Magul items went on with no flaws in just a matter of a couple minutes. The shotgun weight feels about the same, as does the balance. Feels great when shooting. It also comes with expansion packs for the butt-stock to extend or shorten the LOP.
