Wrong size
It was the wrong size. I broke the linkage rod on my Polaris sportsman 400. A stick got caught up in it and snapped it off. Lucky me I broke just the end where it's threaded. I'm hoping I can take the threaded part out of the one I ordered and piece it together with the one that I broke. The rod I ordered is shorter than either one of the rods on my 4wheeler. So obviously it's not made to fit a Polaris sportsman 400 02 model. Other than that it's 5 star and I recommend it to fit another 4wheeler
