So aroma is a preference! Now I read all these "WOW" reviews.. but for me this is tad below ok fragrance. It's not unpleasant nor overpowering but it's too woodsy and musky for me. An old(-er) guy odors. I like fragrance that is refreshing, lightly sweet side, mhmm~ahh and yet masculine. This is not a thick cologne but just don't see how in the world this draws attention to people out there. I honestly already smell better with my shower gel or soap which I do get more compliments since I regularly maintain my personal hygiene, not religiously, but as any decent human would do before leaving the house for work, school, or any events. So my BLUF is I'm not impressed but I mix this with Hummer Black and Homme Noir from TJ Maxx (... and much cheaper than ebay hah)!Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Strong stuff. Best for cold-weather use. Definitely a throwback scent that is distinctive from anything offered currently. In the same family as Kouros, etc. Outstanding value if you're looking for something in this genre. Classic 80's powerhouse scent. Awesome scent mostly for the Mature crowd!
Great masculine mature scent unlike the modern sweet ones! This cologne is mostly for 40+ age range, but I think some younger guys could pull this off. Not really a compliment getter from the younger ladies like 20+ age range. Also, it projects very well & lasts 8-10 hours on 4 sprays on my skin. Good Price for a good cologne
This product came at a great price. Only concern was that the box was not wrapped in cellophane-not sure if it was supposed to. But the spray container appeared to be full. I've always liked the scent of Lapidus. It has a sweet but masculine smell to it. Does not have the overall alcohol smell to it that other colognes have.
