For a little ones who only wants to get the food to their mouth these are perfect! The handle is short for little hands to grip easily and either hand works fine. There is no wrong direction to put it in the mouth...unlike a the curved or straight spoon or fork where the content is either in the spoon indentation or on the end of the fork. So every attempt meets with success. One has slots that allow chunkier foods to stick into it and the other flat nubby surface allows smooth foods like applesauce or strained foods to rest on top. My grandson picked it up and swished it back and forth and gave me that orange carrot smile and we were both happy! These are the perfect beginning tools for little ones and I think you'll agree! Definitely recommend.

Doing BLW with my almost 8 month old, and use these so she can feed herself applesauce or mashed potatoes, etc, she loves it and these are much safer than the regular infant spoons. The one is for thinner foods, other for thicker. Holds the food in place while she shakily brings it to her mouth. Genius.

The handle is to short. The childs hand ends up in the food anyway. Good quality, but does not make you child eat with less mess..
