    Good for the first runs of the Astron RS-35A's

    The old model of the Astron 35A's have no rear female computer type of AC plug on the rear and had a brownish tint to the paint. These are the OEM part number of 1/2 wave stud rectifiers used in that era. Make sure you use heat sink compound between the insulators at the base of these due to the heating buildup at 20 Amps and above load. In the event you have one of these shorted, you'll probably have a bad IC, TIP-120, Stud SCR, SCR driver, 5.6V Zener and several other diodes out on the control board so check them all (including the 4 pass transistors). -Doug-
