  • Great Printing on Officejet Pro 8660

I have used the product four times now for a thread painting project I am doing. I loaded the product fabric side down in my printer and it printed like paper, no jamming or misalignment. I only printed one sheet at a time though, copies dried quickly and there was no smears etc. I haven't dry cleaned the project so I can't comment on that side of things. I am happy with the results and will use them again in the future and will differently give the washable ones a go.

  • Good, but...

I gave this item 3 stars for a few reasons. 1. If you sew this in place, then need to move it, you'll need to make another transfer, as the needle holes are there permanently and they are very visible. 2. I have not washed any transfer yet, and am sewing them into quilts. I find it a bit off-putting that this fabric can only be washed with fabric softener, no soap. So, how do you get the quilt clean if you only use softener? Good thing I recommend quilts never be washed, only dry cleaned. 3. Transfers using deep colors (red, black, blue) will run during the "colorfast" step. That's not a plus. On the positive side, I have been using t-shirt transfers in the past. This transfer fabric can be ironed and isn't as stiff as the transfers. And I don't have to worry about the transfer not sticking to the muslin. So, basically what I'm saying is, this isn't the greatest, but it's better than I've been used to.
