  • An oldie but goodie

This was actually a replacement for the original power supply that came with my 'barebones' system when I ordered it several years ago. Since motherboards and components change so frequently newer and more expensive power supplies no longer have the older connections required to hook everything up in my PC. I figure by the time this power supply gives out it will be time to build a new computer anyway. At least it's quiet and has all the wattage needed for my computer.

  • Heat

This unit puts out a decent amount of heat at idle compared to other PSUs. Efficient isn't there and very light which I assume cheap parts. It does it's job but for how long? I would recommend another name brand unit with better efficiency, you get what you pay for.
