Honda OEM product cured the P1457 EVAP code check engine light.
I have a 2003 Honda civic that had a CEL code of 1457 on. i replaced the canister valve with a Dorman aftermarket. Do not do this. the Dorman canister valve did not clear the check engine light. for a few dollars more, buy this Honda OEM product. once i removed the Dorman (junk), and replaced it with this Honda canister valve, the Check engine light went off and the vehicle is running much better. This product is a bit pricier than the aftermarket canister valves, but is much better. Again, do not buy the aftermarket canister valve as they don't work.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Helped with P1457 code on a 2004 Honda Civic
This was exactly what I needed to remediate a P1457 DTC on a 2004 Honda Civic EX. The Canister Vent Shut (CVS?) was stuck either in an open or closed state and would result in the Check Engine Light coming on. I was able to use this genuine part along with an aftermarket canister to fix this problem ahead of my emissions test. I ended up purchasing new bolts and screws from my local Honda dealer.
