Rust oleum is a good product. It leaves a good finish even if the can is dented. The Barbi is smoking it up as I write. The paint has no effect on the taste of the meat. Again the dents did not effect the product.

Quart goes a long way for wood burner. Two coats and still have 2/3 left in can. A pint would have been sufficient. Used foam brush but still leaves very slight brush marks. Would have liked to spray painted but unit is tremendously heavy to move outside, took three large men 25 years ago to move. If I would to do another coat I would investigate using a small finish roller, finish might appear better. All in all the appearance is definitely much better.

THIS PAINT IS NOT JUST FOR HIGH HEAT APPLICATIONS...AT LEAST THIS IS MY OPINION. I USED IT IN THE SPRAY FORM TO PAINT A WROUGHT IRON GATE AND THE FINISH STAYED FRESH AND DURABLE FOR MANY YEARS. MAKE SURE TO GET THE FORMULATION THAT DRIES TO A SATIN OR SEMI-GLOSS SHEEN. MOST RECENTLY I SPRAY PAINTED BRAND NEW OUTDOOR LIGHTING FIXTURES BECAUSE, NOTORIOUSLY, THE BLACK FINISH ON OUTDOOR LIGHTING FIXTURES FADES WITH THE EXPOSURE TO THE ELEMENTS. I AM USING THE CAN OF PAINT TO PAINT THE INTERIOR OF MY FIREPLACE.

Used on a Wheel Horse muffler. I wire brushed/sanded down the rust pitted muffler, degreased, after fully drying I applied one light coat, allowed it to tack and added a heavier second, I used a high quality brush to prevent streaks. Due to high humidity and cool temps. I allowed the paint to dry for a week. After starting the engine I did notice some smoke and light odor that went away quickly. After several hours of use I've seen no discoloration or bubbling. Plenty left for future use or other projects

Just what I needed for painting hot areas of engine compartment of a car I'm restoring. Don't have to worry about paint flaking off from heat. Perfect sheen too. Not flat or too glossy. Will hold up well to corrosion. Any leftovers, I'll paint my BBQ grill. Win win all around.

Working great on my new smoker. I will recommend this paint to anyone needing high heat paint. It can be backed on if spraying on in cooler temps. Thank you
