Fabulous little Equipment Keeper!
After having lost a $150 White's Bullseye Metal Detecting pin pointer on a long exhausting hunt last month, I finally decided I'd had enough of losing equipment, digging knives, magnifiers, etc.. You get tired in the woods. Things distract you. With these little T-REIGN carabiners, the stuff stays put. The carabiner clip is very strong and has a tight spring so there's no worry about it accidentally falling off of where you clipped it. The equipment side of the clip is made of what I think is braided 60 to 80# Stainless Steel fishing line. Very strong. The Kevlar line in the reel seems sufficient to last a long while and has enough reach in the 36" extension type to be versatile in all situations. The current device I have on it is a Garrett AT Pro pin pointer and I love the fact that when I pinpoint in the hole, when I let go of the pin pointer it reels back in and out of the way of the search area. Even when I stand up and forget to sheath the pin pointer, it only hangs at about waist high from my tactical belt, reminding me to sheath it. I only bought 2 of these because that's all they had. Too noisy for bow hunting.

Does what they said it will do.
I like the concept. Not very good for hunting purposes. Very noisy when it retracts. Perhaps some type of internal nylon wheel could help? Product does exactly what they say it does and I will use it. Just not while trying to be quiet while hunting.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
