Fantastic upgrade for my Glock 17
I'm getting in to competition shooting and if you have not upgraded your trigger yet, start with this! I have a good friend that has been showing me the ropes and walked me through installing this kit. Before the installation of the kit, you could feel grittiness in the pull of the trigger and a long reset. Now, the trigger is super smooth and the reset is short, but doesn't compromise the trigger safety. We also polished additional contact points on the trigger assembly to prevent as much friction as possible. If you're just beginning, this is the perfect kit to start out with, does not require any modifications, just drop it in and you're good to go. Don't bother
I have used the Ghost Ultimate trigger in the past and was very pleased with it. Ordered the Ghost Edge trigger as their new and improved trigger. The connector did not fit properly causing the slide to hang up on it. As the slide closed the rear of the slide would raise up. Not just on one gun. Ordered 2 of them. I installed one and my friend installed one on his Glock 19. Same problem with both of them. I called Ghost and left 6 messages over a 2 week period. Finally the voice mail was full. Smooths out the Glock trigger so much. Makes it a little lighter as well. Nice upgrade for the price especially since it's plug and play! I have this set in my 23 and 27. A good inexpensive trigger job.
I used this kit to lighten the trigger pull on a P80 G17 build that used all stock Glock internals. My measured trigger pull (10 pull average) dropped from 5.4lb to 3.8lbs. The take up to the wall is about stock, with a clean break and just a hint of creep. Installation was a breeze. Eliminates trigger overtravel!
If you have an issue of trigger over-travel this connector can be tuned to minimize or eliminate it. If you do not have patients, don't bother. A few thousandth of an inch will bring it into an optimum setting and that is a one shot deal; take too much off the tab and you start to defeat the purpose. purchased for use in a G35-G3. be advised this part needs to be fitted, will not operate 'as-is', trimming of the over-travel tab is required. i'd suggest installing a glock 'armorer's' plate to facilitate removal of the slide for O/t adjustment. upon completion of proper adjustment, there is a noticeable reduction in front sight 'jump' at the point of ignition. works as advertised.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
