A teacher and a writer, Todd had thoroughly researched the mysterious house and begun to write a trilogy about it. Unfortunately, Todd's untimely passing meant he failed to share his findings: that a malevolent something-or someone-has been haunting it for years. Unaware of the local rumors, Janice and the kids move in, and Jordyn even makes a new friend: a girl her own age who seems to know a lot about the house and surrounding property.
