Best street tire for the cost
People say these tires are for auto cross but my car doesn’t leave the street. Aggressive daily driver. I wanted a reputable brand and one with good reviews no side wall blow outs not excessive tire wear. This is my first set at 245/45/17 but my third set of federal SS595s. Running them on 3 of my 4 cars. Only because car number 4 never gets driven so the tires don’t wear. I drive at speed and in corners with confidence and commute with my daughter all safely. I’m sure there are better tires like Michelin pilots and such but for double the cost and probably ride and wear just about the same. Will buy again when I finally wear through them, they have a nice stickiness that lets me know I have full traction

Great All Season performance tire
After going Dunlop Direzza, straight summer tires, last 3 yrs, I found they wore to fast for my liking. I also had many rain storms i hydroplained. These have hell of tread depth. 1998 Mustang GT Stock Replacement
Purchased for a 1998 Mustang GT (245-50R16) massive improvement over the Kuhmos that were on it, for a stock size replacement excellent value, aggressive appearance and good performance, works well in the wet as well. Best Tires Available - You need to buy these!
If you are a car guy and wanting the best of everything from a tire (performance, looks, functionality, and best value), Federal SS-595 are the best tire you can possible put on your car. Street tires that have low sound, beautiful pattern, good on wet roads, if you are into drifting (these are literally the best drifter tires), or spirited driving. AND they are almost always beating all other tires on the price. These tires have very nice wheel protector lips that help prevent you from damaging your wheel if you accidentally get too close on a curve (it happens to all of us, might as well try to prevent it). I have been putting Federal SS tires on every single vehicle I have ever owned since about 2013. Easily the best tires you can get on a car. Buy them with confidence. You will love these tires. Small recommendation: If possible, try getting these tires in 1 size up from what your original size. For example, if your vehicle's tires should be 205/45/18, try looking for 215/45/18 instead. I provided a picture of my Fiat 500 Abarth. The original tires were 195, but just by going 1 size up to 205 makes a world of difference. It not only looks better, but you have more traction surface, doesn't throw off the odometer at all (within 1 percent discrepancy) and gives them a little more poke on the wheel protector lip. Makes the wheels look a little more beefy :) There is only 1 thing I want to point out in case someone is concerned about this... If you plan to stretch these tires, I do not recommend you get these. They do not stretch as well as other tires and don't look as good when stretched. They have a very large wheel lip protector, which I really love about them, that doesn't stretch all that well. So if you plan to stretch them, you can, but I recommend you go consider other tires instead like Toyo Proxes or Achilles ATR Sport.

Great handling and traction at a great price
I use this tire on my motorcycle and it handles better than a dot drag race tire, and still has great traction with that soft rubber they use which is important for cornering.
