Cub Cadet should redesign the method of engaging the spring end of the cable with the handle.
The cost of this rather simple cable/housing assembly is high. The spring at the upper end of the cable repeatedly pulled the bushing, along with the spring, from the handle. I had to devise a "clamping device" to keep the bushing and spring engaged with the handle. Other than that, the assembly fit and worked as expected.
