Some people take away one star for some deficiency, but this tent was too nice to ding it for a couple of weak points. The bad first : the instructions for setup are practically indecipherable. Seems to be both illogical in its steps and likely a bad translation. Still, using those and physical clues from pole sizes we got the job done reasonably fast for such a large tent. The tent is not lightweight but that is relative. It's a big tent, not something you backpack with. The good: this tent is big and roomy. You still stoop to pass through the doorway but inside is both headroom to stand and room to walk around. It's advertised as a 16 person tent but we all know that means bodies sleeping side by side. And that would definitely work. For me, six people could live in this tent for a week and not be bothered. Two large rooms allow for a sleeping area and a living space (how I use it). I also set up multiple camp tables and reclining lawn chairs in mine. We were hit with a long soaking rain in our first use and we stayed dry, so that's a plus. And beside all that...it looks good.Read full review

16 midget tent? One of the 2 back rooms fit a queen air mattress barely. Iused the box as a night stand . 2 maybe 3 sleeping bags per back rooms is doable. I used front room for storage for several of us. Was at the Burning Man in Nevada desert stood up to winds great with 5 pieces of rebar also holding it down. Baked in day so do need an added shade on top in heat- could not leave windows open much due to playa dust and whiteouts. In more normal camp conditions the zipdown from top window coverings will be ideal to keep it cool. Fabric between back rooms was not fully covering opening, but zip up doors between front room and back was great to have, keeping the playa dust nightmare mostly out of the sleeping areas. Did not get to test on waterproof but rain cover seems to stay/cover well even in high winds. I'd say this could be lux camping accommodations for 2 couples or a whole family to share using front room for supplies. I'm Very happy with it and I am not easily pleased.Read full review

I have two of these (I take groups of kids to AirVenture at Oshkosh, WI each year) and they are fine. You can't expect a tent of this size to be lightweight (and good quality.) It is a bit to lug around, but the kids can set one up in minutes. I am 6'4" and have head room! To this point, we haven't had any leaks, but that may happen in time. I have owned better tents, although they were smaller--and more expensive. For the price, this tent is first-rate!

Set it up the day I received it. After reading reviews I assumed it was going to be harder to set up than it was. I set it up by myself in less than 20 minutes. No problem taking it down and getting back into the bag with 2 people. Absolutely love the size, very roomy. Will be put to the test when we go camping in a couple of weeks.

The only complaint is the instructions could tell front and back with pics like side A, B, etc still have set up problem with the short black 4, this is going to the parallel sides? Last weekend was a thunderstorm and I got in the car to the main offices because I was afraid of lightning, when we comeback was a little water inside but I guess was the win blowing the rain inside the tent through the windows
