The product was made ok But if the cantilever was a bit higher it would clear rear sight making it 100 percent better. Who wants to hammer out the rear sight on a brand new gun to install a scope mount. Solution is to cut this mount off a bit in order to fit without rèmoving rear sight. Good quality, but engineering needs work.
Nice quality product, but just a littler higher and it would have cleared the back sight. With the cut out in the forward section, it looks like it would, but does not. Have a hammer and brass punch ready, or a hacksaw to shorten the base. Those Henry rear sights are really in there, so be prepared for a struggle.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
