WAY WAY better than a Roomba
I expected a re furbished unit but this one looked brand new. It's easy to program even though I don't use the wifi connectivity. It cleaned the room in a third of the time it took my Roomba to do it and it actually CLEANED the whole room. The Roomba just randomly wanders around bumping into things until the battery runs low then it heads for the charger. The Neeto actually covered every inch of our front room without bumping into much of anything except our black leather chairs and sofa. Apparently black is challenging. The cliff sensors are a little lacking, it dropped a wheel off the top step and got stuck but didn't fall down the stairs like our Roomba did. D80/85 units now hard to find and are probably out of production but try paying to replace the motherboard on the newer units.
As good as any other battery operated vacuums but none are as good as a truly electrical unit. For a 3500 sq. foot house, takes most of the day including charging time. I like not having connection to a wifi system and prefer to spend the money on the cleaning parts of the machine rather than the technical portion which are expensive and difficult to find parts and labor to repair. I use two of them in my house by choice and would not trade this setup for the "newer, more advanced" units.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

I just did
I find that it's very fast to clean the house and I believe it's due to not covering all the rooms and or the interiors of the floors, it appears to concentrate on the perimeters.It does have more suction and is a bit quieter than my other neato xV21 I believe is the model, which I restricted to one bedroom since it started giving me dust my Windows which I did and still has erratic shut down alarms . Super Bot
Great little vacuum cleaner. Turn it on, go shopping or hang around and watch tv. The cleaner does it for you. When it's done it goes back to the station to charge up. All you gotta do is empty the bin. We call him Joseph. The first one we got 10 years ago is still working after replacing the batteries. Her name is Darlene. I got the D85 model which is old school. Repurchased the Same model again
We had the same model earlier and bought one of the newer connected series. After working with it a while, we returned it and purchased this same model again. While it doesn't have the wifi connectivity, it is cheaper and was/is a very good unit. We love watching it work it's way around things and the rug tracks it leaves after it's finished. Very happy!
I have 4 other Neato Robots. I particularly like this model because of its simplicity. Don't want anything that requires internet. So far, this Robot is working perfectly. More power
This is my third Neato. One of them went bad, and it doesn't pay to send for service, it lasted 3 years. You have to pay shipping, then you have to pay to ckeck it out, and then they want over $100.00 to fix, and then you pay to send it back. Plus the fix is BS they said I needed a battery, when the battery was almost new. It would start up like a jet plane, and then just die out. I think it was just a sensor, because it always started up like a jet plane with plenty of power then just die before it moved.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Smart robot. Not sure of its battery life
Just make it work. It works great. Two problems now: (1) It is not using Lithium battery. It is using old kind of battery. Don't know how long will this battery last.
