My Second
This is my second 1-6, after owning 2 earlier Vortex Viper PST 1-4 X 24 MOA models. These scopes have bright images, and track accurately, with the rifles I have placed them on. From 5.56/.223 ARs to their larger.308 Autoloading relatives, and Bolt Action models, a Winchester 70 .30-06 to a Czech M98-22 7.92 x 57JS Mauser. Appreciate the fine scope lens covers available from Vortex for secure and flexible protection. Appreciate the Illumination "Off" settings between each intensity level. Vortex Viper PST II 1-6 kicks ass!!!
Great scope for the money. Glass is extremely clear even out to the edges. Plug the reticle into Strelok and you have an accurate first shot capability. A little heavy but that is to be expected given how durable I have found it to be. Eye box is not as generous as others. Magnification ring needs a throw lever. Illuminated dot is extremely bright.
