always wanted to upgrade from my fender champion 40. The champion is a great practice amp, but I found the tone to be bland when I played next to my friend with the Katana. For only $30 more brand new, the Katana blows any amp in its price range out of the water. If you’re looking for an affordable amp, I can’t think of one better than the Katana

I had it for 2 months now, and it's amazing, hasnt givin out once, it's perfect for metal and rock music. I'd say its studio worthy and the effects are stellar for only $200, I recommend this amp for any beginner getting into guitar.

If you are unfamiliar with newer amps like I was, read your owner's manual very carefully. They offer so much more than the older amps but you have to learn how to pull it out of them. Plenty of volume and tons of tone selection!

Can't beat it for the money. Worth more than even full retail cost. I'm a poorboy , so I reviewed alot of amps and effect pedals before I bought a katana 50. Biggest bang for the bucks. No regrets.

This amp is made very well and has a lot of different options for sound effects, you can even download more effects online at their website. I love this amp!
