Great product, fast shipper
I struggled to find a way to operate led panels in my rv ceiling fixtures. I needed a simple way to power them when wired in series. Since I used 3 per fixture, I needed a way to get close to 36 volts. These little boards are perfect for that purpose. Once hooked up to 12 volt battery, I was able to adjust the voltage under load using the built in volt meter (which read about 2 volts different than my cheap multimeter). Still, I was able to run the lights at full brightness but chose to turn them down to 33 volts since the circuit sees 14 volts when the battery is charging. The brightness is barely less and adequate for my needs. These panels are 4 watts each so are 12 watts in total. They produce more light than the two - 15 watt fluorescent tubes that they replace and can operate on some lower voltage conditions when battery voltsge is dropping when away from ac or dc sources. A great product and worth the $ simply for the meter! I bought 2 more! I will measure ooeratingbtemps under full load to determine if I need a fan to cool the heat sink. As these fixtures are in the ceiling, ambient temps easily approach 100 deg F or more in the summer. I will probably install a small 12 volt fan along with a thermostatic probe to turn it on when needed. If you are looking for a dc boost circuit in this product's range, don't hesitate. It probably works but not for very low voltages
As far as I know, this product is alright. But It didn't work for the project I was going to use it for. If you have a project where a small volatage needs to be boosted ( say under 3 volts ) it may not work. The output voltage I was getting was the same as the input even after adjusting the potentiometer. Also, it would be nice if all these electronic gadgets online had links to their datasheets.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Works great for my application.
Using this board to get 19V from 12V battery to power my laptop in my RV.. Works great and is pretty RFI quiet compared to an inverter and the stock power supply for the Laptop. Important when running Ham Radio portable. Only issue I had was one of the screw down terminals on the output was reversed in its housing making it impossible to get a wire into it. Capable DC converter.
Great small unit that can run laptops (from lead acid 12V battery) if you have already charged the laptop battery. Will also charge the laptop battery, but you cannot turn on the laptop until battery is full. Put a good mini fan over it.
