I have been through scads of pedometers which have all had a short shelf life due to bad batteries, poor attachment capabilities, difficulty setting modes, or confusing readouts. I'd about given up on trying to use one when my sister (a much more active person who always uses a pedometer) recommended this one. It's exactly what I wanted: a step counter that doesn't need to check my heart rate or anything else extraneous. It is calibrated in such a way that you don't get 'steps' for random non-walking movements. And it can be worn on a lanyard around your neck, or even carried in a bag, in addition to attaching to your belt with a determined toothy grip. And the display is large and easy to read. It really encourages me to get up and go.

This handy little pedometer is simple and easy to use. Too many of these things offer so many features that they aren't user friendly, not this one, you put it on and away you go. It's easy to reset and yet the reset button is protected so it doesn't get reset by mistake. I highly recommend it.

Finally found a pedometer that just counts steps, not try to think for you with so many unnecessary features that complicate things. Like large clip. Doesn't fall off belt.
