Best traveling Surf Rod ever: high grade!
Although it is by far tough and high quality made: this MH is actually heavier than I expected. The con is, the metal round seal that holds the spinning reel in place was loose and came off. I had to super glue it back on. Overall, I am happy with my purchased.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Just ok
Took rod out of box to fit it to the diawa reel that I bought and the cheap glue that held the metal part of the tightening screw to the plastic threaded portion cracked and they came apart, luckily I had some waterproof jb weld and this was not a huge deal but I have seen it happen to a buddy of mines who has same rod, Chinese glue must be cheap but it seems to be solid otherwise I haven't used it yet but my friends like theirsVerified purchase: YesCondition: New

Daiwa Ardito travel surf rods
This is a great rod. It is lighter than stated and will cast 1-2 oz. very well, but it's not a 3-5 oz. rod. I have 3 Ardito surf rods and the MH and M are identical. The sections even interchange and I can not find a difference in flex between the models using a 2 oz. weight for comparison.
