I use these types of fans primarily at low speed where the Vornado seems to be the best I have found. It is quieter and appears to move more air at the low speed setting than any others I have seen. I have had a few of the Honeywells of similar design. The Honeywells aren't bad, but they seem to last about 4 years and are noisier. Since the Vornado comes with a 5 year warranty, I hope to see a longer useful life than the competition's fans.

Well I’m kinda disappointed with this Vornado 753 fan. The air flow isn’t as good as I was expecting. I have a Hampton Bay Seabreeze 3200 that puts out much more air flow then the Vornado. I wish I just bought another Seabreeze fan. The Seabreeze low fan setting puts out more air flow then the Vornado on medium.

The Vornado Model 753 puts out the right power and is the right size for me. After having one, I got another. It is quite on low and medium speeds. You hear it more on high speed, but it is really producing air flow in high mode.

It is not quiet, nor lightweight, but I did not buy it to be silent or lightweight. I bought it to be effective, and durable. Since the time of purchase until now, it has very effectively proved to be what I need it to be, and is, so far, a good product.

They make great fans. Good enough that every time one finally stops working, I buy another to take its place ASAP.
