Too slow motor to be effective. Cordless AA is a positive.
Beautiful Japanese 80's plastics and build quality. Slow motor compared to new cordless Panasonic razors. Will take 2 AA batteries (cordless). This is maybe good for someone that has a few hairs that need to be trimmed -maybe for the beach or travel etc. For a daily little trim it maybe an exceptional razor your you = roughs up skin very little. =Not really effective for a heavy Man's beard, shaving hairy legs etc. Tested with Japanese Fuji Black AA 2500mA NiCd batteries that were capacity tested before use. =About the best batteries you can use. This was brand nee and the motor was stiff = take the blade off and let it run for the day etc = heats up the motor and the old stiff grease. Other new cordless Panasonic AA Men's shavers are quite good. Wanted a Woman's cordless AA cordless for longer hair trimming, but the new ones Lithium battery rechargeable are 10x better. =You will be more happy with the new Panasonic shavers than this older stuff.
