I've been using SRAM chains of all speeds for quite a few years. I'm giving it 4 stars instead of 5 because I'm not a big fan of the SRAM master link. It is supposed to be used only once? And the chains come with only one? What? Huh? My solution is to keep and carry a KMC Missing Link, which can be used multiple times. Other than that, SRAM chains are great. Work really well with all my Shimano drive train components. Just be sure to buy the right chain for your number of gears.

I use SRAM chains in my all bikes. They work flawlessly in every shift. Of course good lubrication and cleanings are a must for a bike gearing system for its peak performance. Here a SRAM PC-870 chain is being used in a vintage 7 speed Shimano 600 (arabesque gruppo) Ishiwatta frame, relaxed style, bicycle and it works just awesome. SRAM are the always the best choice.

Easy install and looks great, all that was needed was to remove one link and reconnect with the lock links provided. Smooth gearshift. now I’m riding with confidence and no worries about riding with a rusty old chain. Great product.

I have 30+ vintage classics. 5speeds , 6speeds, 7 speeds Ultras, 8speeds . This chain works great in all of them. Plus the shiny side plates will show dirt well and a thorough hose down brush cleaning and re-lube restores it to like new. I clean my bikes and chain often. Roughly every 200 miles or so. Old pro team mechanic habits that I still perform religiously. The Sram PC 870 can't be beat.

Just the cain and look I was after, I needed a new chain but wated to match the look of one coated link one black link on my tandem bike, this did the trick, shifts great and comes well packaged and brand new as discribed. Working great so far.
