Didn't work in cold weather, but I fixed them
Hard to find sensors for a garage door opener this old. The motor unit on my old sears opener worked fine, but when it got cold out the receiver sensor would not work. I was happy to find these replacement sensors. They arrived quickly, I installed them, and they worked perfectly. Until it got cold out. Then, the receiver quit working, just like my old one. Some research on Google came up with a person with the same problem ... Actually a LOT of people. One guy recommended replacing the capacitors on the sensor to fix the issue. I bought the 1 u-farad and the 47 u-farad caps, installed them, and the sensors now work perfectly again.Verified purchase: YesCondition: Pre-owned

Inexpensive fix
The only thing is check your wiring first. I checked the originals with a 9v battery at the operator and they did not light. I installed these, still not working. I twisted the tails together and touched them to terminals on operator, pointing at each other. Bingo ! Ran new wires to track bottoms. Lesson learned.Verified purchase: YesCondition: Pre-owned
