Here in the heart of Central Flyway we are blessed with season long bunches of mallards. The first thing you will notice is the most life like, hand painted finish ever put on a hunting decoy. Our drakes go through a 24 step painting process, and our hens go through a 16 step painting process.
I havent used mine yet.. But I hunted over some last year and they were Awesome!!
Getting the head on was a little tricky at first, but once you get 1 or 2 on using hot water, the rest are pretty simple..
The only drawback is trying to fit them into a slotted bag... The heads stick out.. I havent tried the Dakota bag..
But yes they look awesome.. I just hope the flocking and paint hold up.. I'm sure they will because it seems like a real quality decoy and with common sense and care i should get plenty of hunts out of them..
I would really like to see a black duck in the Dakota line up!!
Thanks!
Best looking decoys I've ever seen. We were a little worried someone might come in our field and shoot at them, they look that good. Expensive but if you are a duck hunter you'll understand why.
Bought these but was shocked to find them needing to be blown up. So instead of just filling them up with air I filt them up with foam insulation. It works alot better
