Sony swap
I got this stereo hoping to fix my old Sony that the radio stopped working on. I was actually able to take out old one and plug in the new one without wiring (but I have a Sony that has the same features) everything works great it is an older model tho so you can’t change display color and it only works usb with non Apple products . Another Quality Sony Product.
I travel in an RV from time to time and needed a receiver that could read my USB memory sticks. Space in my RV and my Jeep and my truck is a premium. I have managed to get about 100 CD's on my memory sticks so I wouldn't have to lug satchels of CD's around and needed a receiver that matched the other two Sony receivers I own. Needed the USB option an d it definitely works and sounds great. The unit has a "SUB Out" option which I have utilized in my truck. The sound is awesome! I have had a few other brands in my life but love the quality in workmanship and sound these units produce. The "Extra Bass" is great and adds a bit more bass to what I have already. No sub yet. The unit also works with my Android phone which is great because not everyone is falling for the stupid nuts price of an I-Phone. Bought 2 of these to replace 2 much more expensive units that both had issues after only 1 year. The sound quality is better than the other brand I had which cost 3x what these did. Will not play I-Pods!!!
