This is identical to the ones I used in college (Electrical Engineering undergrad) and it arrived almost as good as new. Hardly ANY signs of wear and fired up right out-of-the-box. "Calibrated" it with two different Fluke digital multi-meters and it appears spot-on. I am back to school (Software and Embedded Systems) and needed a DC power supply; this was an unbelievable find at an unbelievable price! (P.S. It was very easy to find the PDF manual online as well)

I am very pleased. At first I was thrown off and had to learn how it works. I set it for 0-20V after I had set the voltage to 30 volts on the 0-40V range. When it stayed at 30, I thought something was broken. Then I realized that 0-20V means that I am guaranteed to be able to draw .6 amp throughout that range, not that the output voltage is limited to 20 volts. I certainly was confused at first!

I do a lot of prototyping and this p.s. fits the bill.
