Great for prototype models.
Good for modeling any camping gear with legs, like cots, folding tables, etc. The ability to string them together, especially with elastic bands, allows for modeling light weight backpacking tents. And the careful application of heat lets you enlarge an end so the tubes can be inserted into longer units.
