Rotosound Yellows are the Best 10 gauge strings for Electric
I got these because someone said they bend as easily as 9 gauge strings, even though they are 10 gauge. This is certainly true. When I was tuning them with the T.C Tuner, , they stayed on the note and do not waver like the Ernie ball strings. Also, the Rotosound company adds a desiccant pack (As someone already said) to the Roto Yellow strings. A Very pleasant surprise was the addition of a 2nd High E string. How very considerate of Rotosound. English Gentlemen to be sure. They have more Vibe to the sound. There is more depth and they please the ear more than D Addarios or Ernie Ball strings. It must be the alloy they use. Like a perfect Blend of PG tips English tea ....( Eddie Kramer turned me on to PG Tips tea years ago when I met him at Hyde Street Studios when he was mixing "Hendrix in the West") Anyways.
