The DSM-5 is not a book one sits down to read. It is a reference volume for diagnosing mental disorders... Frankly, it makes for boring reading. But, it provides valuable information and in an improvement on the DSM-4.

Veteran Claims that deal with PTSD issues are explained so that a Service Officer can properly write up these issues. This is the latest manual. Of course anyone who deals with mental health issues needs one. For me I mostly deal with only the PTSD issues and the more I know and understand the better the claim package will be.
