Great machine.
I want to start by saying I love this machine so far and over all works great. All these things I find to be small inconveniences with relatively easy solutions. The things that stopped the 5 star is the air mouse, how you navigate through Netflix and on some sign in areas going back and forth from "ALT" on the keypad. The Air mouse- is no better than the one I received with my LG 8 years ago (slow response time). It makes it slightly difficult to navigate some screens. Netflix- The selection doesn't always highlight enough to see. The play/pause buttons don't work so you need to use the air-mouse to try and find pause. The "ALT"- when signing into SOME things pressing the alt button brings you to the cursor to the beginning of the line and need the air-mouse to continue.

Good but there are less expensive boxes that can do the same thing
I bought this android box because I thought that it would be better than the one I currently have. While it is a good box and easy enough to set up, I found that it is not completely unlocked some of the add-ons require additional registration. The SkyStream is packaged very nicely. The android box is flat and not at all bulky. It doesn't overheat if it is left on for long periods of time. The remote that the android box comes with is pretty much useless. It doesn't have very many features and not really practical for using as a navigator. I use a wireless keyboard which works fine. Overall, the SkyStream One is a convenient and if you are looking to cut the cord on cable, I would agree that you get enough features that you can do just that with this box. However, it does take a while to learn and navigate.

It was very easy to set up and It came with a ton of channels, movies, documentaries, sports, etc., etc. More than I can handle. The "search" is incredible. I have new and old movies whenever I wish. I can't wait for my cable TV contract to end so I can start saving the $60 monthly payment. Skystream One will pay for itself in less than 3 months. I'm glad I didn't buy any of those cheap black boxes.

When people say there were so many channels, i wonder because there was nothing on mine. Maybe because i bought a refurbished one and it may have been faulty. Too bad, they say "No return"
