Never Quiet...Loud on High, and the air coming out sideways makes for quirky for placement
Weve had it running for a couple of weeks. Whisper Quiet???....Huge LOL. Put this thing on high and its 2x louder than our babys white noise machine when that thing is on high. Im sure it would be quieter if the Carbon filters were also installed but this thing is moving a serious amount of air. It uses "squirrel cage" fans and the air discharges sideways from the unit, so placement got weird for us. For $2400 I am VERY disappointed. It should have come with the wall mount AND the Carbon filters. The Air should be coming straight out or have the ability to oscillate...what was the design team thinking?!?!? Well, they got me and im an HVAC professional for 17 years. My homes air quality was always good, but the baby had a respiratory thing and I dropped money to ensure my nugget is breathing clean air....except the clean air was smashing into the wall until we caddy cornered it....now it takes up too much space when trying to aim the air to the middle of the room. The more I type, the more disappointed I get...so im gonna stop.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
