Subaru backing plates
Just as good as oem. Everything fit fine. Mounting holes and everything. Not sure that this other guys issue was. They are side specific. Maybe put them in the wrong side 😂 def would recommend to my friends. Saved a couple hundred compared to the dealer and working great. A+

Dorman Brake backing plates
Ok so it’s these or $300 OEM plates. The 4 mounting holes are off, had to use a round file and mill them out to mount. I have no faith in these. If the mounting holes are that far off it makes me question the functionality of the plate, like when I mount all the brake hardware I’m not at all confident that the brakes will wear evenly. Time will tell but your best option is either to buy oem new or used. I’m a little surprised as I’ve had good luck with Dorman products before. At $100 I expected these to be better than what they are.
