Great product at a great price
My friend had the UE Megaboom and it is simply amazing. I purchased the smaller UE Boom 2 because the price is less then half of the Mega and thought it would work well for my needs. The UE Boom 2 sounds great and battery life is great. It doesn't have the deep bass like the Megaboom but at the price and size it is great. Since I purchased mine two of my friends have also purchased. I have a few friends with the Bose soundlink and this speaker is better in my opinion.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

DO NOT BUY FOR PORTABLE SCRATCHING!
The speaker works & sounds great. HOWEVER, if you are like me and are thinking of purchasing this speaker for your portable scratch setup, DON'T. Logitech introduced a software update that introduced a ton of latency when you are connected to the speaker via 3.5mm cable/jack. This makes it impossible to use as your scratches will be greatly delayed and sound super sloppy. This issue has been present since October of 2016 & Logitech is aware of the issue but to this day has yet to fix it. Expected better battery life
I bought this ue boom 2 for listening to music at work. on a full charge using Bluetooth it only last 5 hours. I work 10hr a day. The speaker is supposed to work for 15 hours. It has an extra port probably to hook into your phone to save battery life but would think would go at least the 10 on Bluetooth.
